Used to live in CA and when I moved to NJ I missed the availability of Salvias. Found your website, searched by zone as I live in zone 6 and found the best asst of Salvias. Believe me when I say that as we order seeds from all over the world. And to our amazement the quality of the plants surpassed the selection! Always top quality plants.

the salvias I ordered were the most robust and healthy looking plants I have ever seen. I especially liked the hardening off and planting guidelines and tips. unfortunately work called me away for a week and the plants weathered a week of brutal Georgia heat, humidity and drought unattended. when I finally got them planted they still looked incredible and are doing nicely. I highly recommend flowers by the sea.

The plants I received yesterday arrived in great shape, thanks for the extra care you took in packing! I've purchased quite a few salvias recently but can't comment much on any of them yet as they're all too new. I'm trying a variety and excited to see if they all survive the winter here in Portland, Oregon. Thanks again.

We were very impressed with the great condition of the Salvias when they arrived after being shipped to Alabama from California. They looked very green and strong. We followed FBTS's planting instructions and the results have been excellent! FBTS's Salvias have grown really well with beautiful flowers that have drawn butterflies and hummingbirds. Even though our area has received much less than our average amount of rainfall since we received the Salvias, they have all thrived. We're extremely pleased with the quality of FBTS's plants and customer service. As we plan what we're going to add to our garden next year, we're definitely going to include Salvias from FBTS.

I have to say I was running blind when making my initial order, but when I received immediate follow up in regards to shipping ETA, and shipping confirmation i started feeling confident. Most importantly, my plants were a larger size then expected and HEALTHY!!!! Keep in mind these babies were shipped from California to central Florida....impressive!!!! What a great find!!!!

I ordered Wendy's Wish salvia and Elk white ice salvia. I was thrilled to find the Wendy's Wish. It is one of my favorite salvias. I had never had a truly white salvia and it is stunning. The plants were in great shape after traveling from California all the way to Georgia. They are thriving in my garden. The hummingbirds cover these plants all day. I am so excited to have a source for salvias because they thrive in my climate. Next spring, in late March or April. I will be ordering lots of the Wendy's Wish to fill my yard and I know I will find many other salvias for my garden. I am so glad I found this source for my favorite plants.

Amistad is THE perfect salvia--just a wonderful size, and it blooms like crazy, even here in Iowa! Now, if only my ruby-throated hummies would find it. Buying them later in the season, they didn't get the prime pieces of real estate, but I'm sure the little hummingbirds will love it as much as the others--especially once the babies come around for their piece of the pie!

Wow, what great plants and even better customer service. I ordered 4 plants and two of them died although I treated them all the same..might have been something stupid I did. I called and I got two new plants in less than two days! And they gave me information on how to keep the plants alive and talked me through what might have gone wrong. No fingers were pointed, which I appreciated (althought it might have been me!). Anyway, can't wait to order from this fine company again!

I recently decided to overhaul a large sun garden in the front of my new home. After removing all of the existing plants and weeds, I realized that I had quite a bit more space to fill than I originally anticipated. Every gardeners dream! More space! So I began looking for perennials I have wanted for a long time and found FBTS had two kniphofia that were unavailable locally. I had my reservations about ordering plants from so far away during the summer, but my worries were put to rest by the excellent customer service and prompt shipping. UPS ended up delaying my package for a few days and I was very worried about the plants being in the extreme heat for so long without water. Once the plants arrived, they looked parched but otherwise okay. Kermit didnt miss a beat and actually sent replacements for the two plants just in case they had been too stressed by the trip. Everyone is doing fine in the garden and I know that I will be returning again as soon as I have more space to fill!

I ordered Amistad Salvia mid May and was so excited to receive such healthy lush plants from California. I am in growing zone 6 Maryland. Four are in full sun and blooming like crazy as of July 1 and about 3 feet high. I have another one in a pot that only gets afternoon sun. Much smaller and is now blooming July 10th. Hummers are here. Color is an incredible vibrant deep purple blue. Will try to take cuttings and get them through to next summer. Thank you so much!

I live in NY and wanted to try my hand at growing California salvias. Flowers by the Sea had so many of the plants I wanted and more. I am currently growing 10 different varieties and they are doing great. Whenever I had any questions about growing tips and such FBTS always tried their best to guide me in the right direction. As long as I can keep growing these plants in this zone I will always get them from FBTS.

We ordered plants from Flowers by the Sea and are very happy. Except for one, they arrived in good condition. The service and attention to detail was excellent and we highly recommend. Waiting now for the rainy season to kick it into high gear. I think that will really push them forward.

I ordered 3 of the Salvia x Greggii (Rasberry Delight) and 2 of Salvia Coahuilensis. All arrived at the time promised. As recommended,I set them under a tree to recover from a 7 days journey to the east coast. They were planted in the ground about 10 days later and all are doing very well. I`m expecting flower buds within the next couple of weeks. I would recommend express mail for future purchases.

I have ordered plants from FBTS for the last 4 years, 17 plants in spring 2014. They are the most impressive plants in health and size that I have received from any mail order company. These are not little cuttings, but rather large bushy plants, typically 8-10 or more inches tall, full of buds and sometimes already blooming. They take off when planted. The varieties are as described on the website. They arrive in perfect condition and when promised, meticulously packed. I cannot recommend this nursery more highly. Leslie

I received my order at the time I was told I would get them. They were good after 7 days in shipping, a little dry but they have be growing just fine. I can't wait to see them bloom.

I received my second order of great looking plants - they were sent on Monday and didn't arrive until Friday - only slightly limp; I said \"great looking\" because they were thick, bushy and very healthy looking.

I received my first order (of salvias) three days ago - they came to North Texas via regular mail and look great. They are large, no leaf drop, and are already over the 'not so perky' phase that comes with being shipped; several have open blooms already. I appreciate the very reasonable prices which help offset the cost of postage. Great selection - I have already made a second order. (Can't get most of these here.)
