Recently during a search I found Flowers by the Sea. They should also include in their name, Treasures by the sea! I have placed several order this month for my hummingbirds. The plants arrived healthy, budding carefully packed! This is a family business that cares about customers! I have had questions answered, and have been helped so much with caring for my plants. Since moving from Berkeley, CA to Tigard, OR in November 2017, I have purchased 18 plants from FBTS: two salvias for a small shade garden, fifteen salvias and one agastache for a full sun garden. Every one of the plants arrived in pristine condition and they are all doing splendidly. I couldn't be happier. The plants are vigorous, loaded with flowers and visited all day long by bees and humming birds.

I’m so pleased to have found you! I never realized how lovely salvia could be. I tried just two this year, three plants of each. I’m in zone 6 and felt challenged to find a beautiful plant hardy in my zone. The two I tried were exceptional. Salvia greggii 'Burgundy Seduction' has just begun blooming in earnest which is great because we don’t have a lot of color at this time of year. The color itself is stunning and flower texture is like velvet! Salvia greggii 'Cold Hardy Pink' Has been blooming nonstop for months and continues to do so. I love to look out at the bright, lighter but vibrant, pink. I can’t wait to add others to our gardens! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

bought 12 salvia plants, mostly salvia leucantha. was delightfully surprised at the size and quality of my plants. if these do well in the southern california desert sun, i'll be back for more...lots more.

I just received my order from FBTS.  Two Cuphea plants, two Fushias, and one Honey Melon Salvia.  All of them arrived healthy and in excellent shape, each of them a generous size for planting.  My task now is to get those fushias to thrive in Temecula where temps soar during the summer months; the other three will do well here for sure.  Your plants and service are 5-star!  I'll be looking to order more as I develop my garden further.  Our hummingbirds in this area will delight in the assortment.  Thank you, Flowers by the Sea!
